The NAD Evangelism Institute is the tangible expression of the Division’s commitment to inspire a love for evangelism in seminary students, pastors, and lay ministers. One of its important functions is to collaborate with the SDA Theological Seminary to equip ministerial students in the areas of proclamation and personal evangelism. Areas of emphasis include evangelistic small groups, house churches, church planting and revitalization, coaching and discipleship.
Through the Institute, the Division provides valuable field learning experiences and equipping events as well as significant evangelistic resources. A major focus is holding SEEDS Church Planting Conferences throughout the Division. The Institute exists to contribute to the mission of reaching every person with the distinctive Christ-centered Adventist message of hope and wholeness.
We Value Excellence in:
God-Dependence – earnestly seeking to align our hearts with the heart of God in His compassion for the harvest. (Matthew 9:35-38; Acts 4:31)
Evangelism – engaging and reaching people with the distinctive, Christ-centered, Seventh-day Adventist message of hope and wholeness. (Revelation 14:6-12; Mathew 28:16-20)
Equipping – providing coaching/mentoring, instruction and field based experiences to help men and women become reproducing disciples. (Ephesians 4:11-12; 2 Timothy 2:2)
Innovation – investing significant time to develop creative methods, promoting and implementing cutting edge best practices. (Acts 17:22-23; Mark 2:21-22)
